Lyrics

The Black

this broken life fades out

as we proceeded, we are not the only ones to feel

our lives breaking out, it’s all progressing

lived a life in humbleness to give respect

to those who deserve it

they all have failed to give

respect to those who have earned it

deception is real

what you had wanted came out

that site of recognition

we are not the only ones to see the brightest lights fade out

this darkness has consumed my inner peace

a blessing in disguise

to manifest the biggest dreams as I still protest

all the dark encounters I have spent in momentary bliss

then enslaved, enslaved as I fell into this

relapse of the confidence in me

blacked out, focused, separating life until the weakness drawn from an empty side of me

progress, success, that I can’t believe it’s so real

it’s so real

for years we’ve built these dreams on vindication inside our heads

(this life chose us)

one day when all the lessons that we have learned are past

a part of recognition is to feel like an outcast

three days, thirteen hours relapsed

a momentary blissfulness to see that this would last

for all the world to see it’s in our hands
